Week in the Life Down Under 2019

Have you been considering taking part in Week in the Life? Week in the Life is a documentary project developed by Ali Edwards that gives you the opportunity to take a snapshot of your everyday life.

Have you been considering taking part in Week in the Life? Take a look at my plan for this year's Week in the Life Down Under!

In 2014, I completed the project with the Project Life App. Last year I pulled together a page or two for each day in the Project Life app on my phone. It worked so well, I'm doing it again this year!

The process

Here's how the process worked:

  1. Snap photos on my phone
  2. Snap photos on my camera
  3. Jot notes about my schedule on Ali's daily sheets or write a few notes about my day in my dairy.
  4. Pull my phone photos into the Project Life App.
  5. Make the page in the Project Life App. Here's my tutorial
  6. Stick to one kit. In 2018 I used Lissie Street. In 2014, I selected the Midnight kit to keep the pages simple - no color clashing to worry about!
  7. Save as a 12x12 to my camera roll and save a copy of the editable file to Dropbox

Other Finished Albums

Over the past few years, I've participated in Ali Edward's Week in the Life several times. I've written about a few ideas I had for doing it digi style in 2015, but since I've still got 5 more pages to finish from that year, I'm simplifying further!

In 2011 and 2012 I created a simple hybrid album, which you can see here.
