I used to dread downloading and filing my photos, in the hopes of finding them again.
Little did I know that was the tip of the iceberg.
Then, I discovered digital scrapbooking...
Queue me becoming a crazy-freebie-lady downloading EVERYTHING I could find for the next year or so.
I spent a lot of time collecting files, then at the end of the month, when my download limit was reached I would unzip them all and just look at the pretty stuff I collected.
One day, I decided I needed to create an invitation to our housewarming party. So I opened up my Digi folder and searched for something cute.
It took me ages to find the coordinating supplies I needed.
Then it took me hours to create this little invitation in Macromedia Fireworks.
In the end it was pretty cute, and I got a few compliments on it. So I figured, maybe I'd try to work out this digital scrapbooking thing.
After battling for a while with Fireworks (which is designed for web graphics, not photo editing), I finally decided I needed to shell out for Photoshop Elements 6.
The box arrived to my little house in Kalgoorlie, and I eagerly installed it on my aging computers. Much to my delight, I discovered it had... AN ORGANIZER!
So, I set to work organizing all those photos and digital downloads. Even without a digi-scrap shopping budget, I was able to create pages with lovely coordinating papers and embellishments. Within a few months, it dawn on me I could scrap a whole page in the time it used to take me to hunt through my supplies!
I was hooked! Why wasn't everyone shouting from the rooftops about PSE Organizer?
Just 6 months, later when we move into our second house, I whipped up this invitation in a fraction of the time it took me to do the first one. Why? Well, I knew my program a little better. But I also knew where to find my photos and supplies.
Fast-forward 6 years and I'm still happily chugging away with Photoshop Elements, but many digi-scrappers haven't even tried using the program.
So I decided to change that by helping you get your supplies into Photoshop Elements Organizer in just 5 lessons.
I'll show you how Photoshop Elements Organizer can change your scrapping life, for the better.
