Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page all about my childlike faith.
Layout: Childlike Faith
How I did it
This page I used the same kit as I used on last week's page.
- As simple paper background
- Journalling on a neutral paper
- Photo with a white border
- Alpha and font title combo
- Simple shadows
Journaling
As long as I can remember, I have known God and loved him. When I was young I remember praying, attending church and reading my Bible (or Bible stories).
Around 10, I remember recommitting my life after a Sunday night service at Woodvale Baptist. At that time I was quite convicted about the 1 John passages about loving my brothers and sisters in Christ. I was struggling with loving a person at school and felt I needed God's strength to help me through that.
At 11, on the 20th of November 1993, I was baptised by immersion at a Breath of Life Church camp at Hillston.
I have never really had a crisis of faith, I think due to the fact that I allow myself to study and learn a lot - plus I have no issue with questioning. There is much we will never understand here on this earth.
