Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page from my childhood all about a sister.
Layout: A Sister
How I did it
I just loved the papers in this kit so much! So I layered them on top of each other and allowed bits and pieces so show through using masks.
I wrote some journalling and embellished with a cluster, photo mat, word are and a piece of washi and a bow. The wooden alpha came with the kit and was perfect for this page.
Journaling
My long awaited sister entered the world on New Year’s Day at 2:15am, 1991. We were all on 3 channels of news as they celebrated the first baby born in the new decade. I was so happy to have a sister and it was a thrill to be able to see us on the TV. A friend at school even asked if we got paid for our appearance! In a feat of brilliance, Pop managed to record all 3 snippets and the teasers too on the VCR. But all that excitement aside, I was just so happy to a precious new sister.
