Baby days go past so quickly and there are mountains of photos to scrapbook. Have you ever looked a pile of photos from your baby's first few months in dismay? You can use digi scrapping to get those photos into an album in just a few hours.
I've done a variety of different styles of baby books over the years. Lucy's book is my third completed baby book and I used the Project Life App, Baby for Her Digital Kit and Photoshop Elements to create the book. I used one or two pages for each month and finished with Lucy's first birthday celebration.
In the end I printed using a coupon for Shutterfly.
Here's a closer look at all the pages and journalling I created.

Meeting the family
Nan and Pop missed seeing us in hospital as some one told them we were sleeping. So after we settled in we invited them over.Kath made the trip from Townsville to meet you.
Lucy you are loved by all of us! Edward is always coming to check if you are in your bassinet when he wakes up.

We spent 5 days in hospital and Phill took two weeks off work.

You are really starting to vocalise, smile and interact with toys. You love to tell us stories about everything that happens. Edward is fascinated by you and each time you make a sound he points it out to me. Emily loves being your big sister and tells everyone we meet about you. You’ve already enjoyed your first church camp and even got babysat by Grandma Okely for mummy’s glucose tolerance test.
At 7 weeks your had your frenotomy on your upper lip and tongue to stop the clicking and help you have a better attachement. The lactation consultant did a very thorough suck test and it turns out you were work twice as hard to get your milk as a the norm. You were smiling and happy even after the odd tastes of the local anaesthetic and the dentist’s bubblegum flavoured gloves. We hope this will help you feed more easily with your short tongue and high palate, as well as avoid future issue with eating solids, speech, orthodontic work.
We love you Lucy

Trying to roll. Getting a little chatty. Eyes clearing up. Some 000s are getting small.. Sleeping in the cot. You have chubby little leggies. Loving the new playgym. Waking at around 4am for a feed. 3 hourly during the day.
Lifting your head easily for tummy time
You hold tightly to our hands and try to sit up.

You are waking for the day at between 5-7am. You are sleeping well again after a couple of weeks of disturbed nights. Most evenings you go to bed between 5-7 pm. There's little correlation between bedtime & wake times. Some nights you have an extra feed at bedtime. Other days you just happily sleep through.

Rocking back and forward on knees, Arching up onto your hands and toes, Sliding backwards. Emily thinks its time for you to have your playpen out since you can roll and shuffle around and get into things now.
Some things you Tried this month: Crossing fingers, Licking the floor, Sitting for you Grandma and Grandad (but not for Mummy yet!) You went to your first Christmas carols and dance concert and you also settled for Daddy on dress rehearsal night. You have two naps each day plus a bottle catnap in the early evening. You love to watch what's going on but you also enjoy playing with your toys.
27 November Your first food was pumpkin and you really enjoyed it. You screwed up your face when you taste something new but you actually seem to enjoy and now you even grizzle for us to give you the next spoonful. You are eating almost 2 tablespoons in one sitting. You've tried carrot, sweet potato, apple, mango, and pumpkin. You enjoy chewing on apple rusks, your dummy and teethers.

Loving to play on your own or with Emily and Edward.
