Did you know you don’t need fancy software to tag your photos? Here's how to tag your photos using nothing more than your folder system!
Windows
Simply go to the image properties:
Right click - Properties (Ctrl+Enter), then click the Details tab.
Then you’ll see a range of fields for you to fill in.
Windows will even suggest previously used tags.
Apple Mac
On a Mac, you can get to the File Info by selecting the file, then press Command-i, then click More Info…
You will not have quite as much detail, but you can add some metadata in the comments field.
The only downside is that this doesn't write the metadata to file on the Mac 🙁 Boo! I'll link up when I find a good work around for this.
