Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too.
Today I'm also joining in the Make it Monday blog hop. You may have came from my friend Alice in Scrapbook Wonderland! She is an always has creative scrapbooking ideas (and has been taking selfies since before they were selfies!).
If you didn't come from Alice's site, be sure to check her out after you've stopped over with my friend Beth who is sharing a create way to make a minibook addition to your layouts or Project Life pages.
Today I’m sharing a page from I created about my daughter Emily.
Layout: You Shine
Create the Look
- The photo on this layout was a front camera selfie, so I kept it small.
- Patterned papers are usually hard for me to work with, so I stayed within one kit to be sure they would all work together.
- The title was word art, but I use the eraser tool to make it look more like a rub on. I just erased a small sections at the edge of the photo, circles and kraft mat.
- I added a little journaling in my own handwriting font and called it done!
Journaling
Spending time snuggling and reading four or five books before afternoon rest time.
Happy just to be together.
