ABCs of PSE: V is for Move

Did you know PSE has some different tools to full Photoshop and different keyboard shortcuts? Stop the confusion with the ABCs of PSE!

Press V for the Move tool. Just click and drag to move layers on your layout.

• MOVE TIP: Need a little nudge? When you have the move tool selected, press the arrow keys to nudge the current layer one pixel over.
• MOVE TIP: When you have the move tool selected, hold down shift and press the arrow keys to nudge the current layer ten pixels at a time.
• MOVE TIP: Want to keep your item in as you move it around? Hold down shift and drag your layer with the move tool and it will only move in one direction.
• MOVE TIP: Double click on text with the move tool to quickly edit text.
• MOVE TIP: Alt (Option) + Click and drag a layer to quickly make a duplicate of that layer.
