If you have been following along you'll notice most days I've got into a rhythm with my December Daily Scrapbooking. Mostly 1 main photo, few embellishments plus a story from the day. Simple is good and finished is better than perfect!
Finished Layout
Brilliant idea of the day: Filling up the other half of the sandpit shell with water. I know, how smart am I? Emily totally loved the paddling pool! I love that we have some shade for her to play outside in the morning. Emily has always loved swimming, whether at the beach, pool or just in a paddling pool. I loved this little bathing suit on her too, Mambo baby would you believe?
Love that I could capture this summer memory today!Credits: Simple Template Album Template 5; Peace on Earth by Flergs and Eva Kipler available at Scrapbookgraphics; Stitch Mania by Karen Lewis Designz available at The Digichick; Fonts: Melissa's Hand
Techniques
Today I used Template 5, added different stitching and just turned off the star. For the stamped number I clipped a solid fill to the '6' and selected a colour from the patterned paper.
Journalling
I focussed on Emily's love of water, so just a bit of daily documentation with a bit of reflection thrown in!
