Have you tried using the Project Life app? It's a easy to use way to create a photo collage on your phone that's perfect for printing or sharing online.
Becky Higgins' Project Life app is a mobile application that allows you to create digital scrapbooks using templates and other design elements. The app provides a user-friendly interface for organizing and displaying their photos and memories in various layouts that you can customize with text and decorative cards. You can make in-app purchases for additional design kits and features. The Project Life app is available on both iOS and Android devices.
Recently, the Project Life App got a major update, and I'm here with an updated tutorial for how to use the app. I've created it in a vertical format for ease of viewing on your phone, where most of us are using the Project Life App. I love to use the Project Life App to create a photo collage of a special day, or to use it to quickly complete a Layout a Day or Week in the Life project.
Here's the basics of how to use the app to create a standard Project Life Photo Collage:
- Open the Project Life app
- Tap Create
- Tap Collage Page
- Add photos from your camera roll by tapping on the photo icon
- Add decorative cards or journalling by tapping on the card icon
- Drag and drop to move your cards around
- Your page is automatically save in the Library
- You can print from the app if you are in the US/Canada
- Otherwise share to your camera roll and print at home
I didn't cover the new editorial styles in this video, would you like to learn more about them? Leave a comment below with what you'd like me to cover next!

Wow. I loved your video ! Thank you so much for doing it. I used it several years ago but left it in favor of PSE. Now that it is ‘disabled’ for awhile, my photos are piling up so I’m going to try it again–thx.:)

You are quite welcome Marla!

Thanks for this. I’d like to add different papers from my own digital stash. Is that possible? And I know people make their own cards. How is that done. And more about the editorial styles would be great! Enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!
Melissa Shanhun says
For sure! You would just have to add them as if they are a photo from your Camera roll or files. So:
1) download the supplies onto your phone or tablet
2) insert them as a photo
3) use the free text tool to add journalling if you like.
Does that make sense?
Thanks for your kind comment Lynda
