I love scrapbooking and making pages from scratch, but even scrapbooking over 100 layouts a year there's still years I haven't documented yet.
A few years ago I felt like I was drowning in photos and I needed help! The years when I had tiny babies, I had hundreds of photos and only a handful of pages. I wanted to fill in the gaps in my albums. 2009 & 2016 were especially bare!
Looking around for ideas on how to make scrapbooking the missing years in my albums It turned out I had a few things in my favor. One was a feature in Photoshop Elements. Auto Curate analyzes your photo library and curates the images based on their quality, faces present in them, smart tags, trips and events.
Then there was the Make my Book service added to Shutterfly. Shutterfly will have a real life person create a book for you with the photos and style you choose. Then you can customise the book afterwards.
So I combined Photoshop Elements auto-curate features with Shutterfly Make my Book to get my book finished in much less time than it would have taken me to scrapbook everything myself. I was so excited I create the Simple Family Yearbook class to show you all how I did it - and how you can have a finished album in just a couple of hours work!
