I was working on my layout for Week Two of Hello Story yesterday, so I thought I'd share it as inspiration for your weekend scrapping.
This page was made from scratch, so I'll talk you through the process...
- I wanted to use the pink flower, so I started my layout with a cluster of washi, ribbon and added some paint and stitches for fun
- I filled out the blanks using my handwriting font
- I needed a neutral base to a clipped the kraft paper to a rectangle shape
- I moved everything around a few times to be sure 'dream big' was showing
- I decided the cluster was a great spot for the date tag
- I added another layer of paper at the last minute
- I framed my page with some polkadot paper to tie all the colours together (thanks Debbie Hodge for that tip!)
I used Ali Edward's fill in the blank digital elements and Sara Gleason's Coconut Tree kit from the Digi Files (there's only a couple more days to grab that one - so get it now!)
This is just one of the pages I'm including in a photobook order I'm working on. I'm hoping to get it done this weekend to take advantage of an awesome $3 photobook deal from Adorama Pix. What will go inside? Another 13 or so unprinted all about me layouts.
Narcissistic? Never! I just love scrapping about me, and it's about time I could look through the pages in real life.
