Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page from my family’s album about Mother's Day 2017.
Layout: Mother's Day 2017
Create this look:
This is a simple block layout.
One piece of paper, a journalling card, two pieces of word art, a single embellishments, plus a couple of favourite fonts for the title.
- Select a patterned paper you love. (I went with roses to match my skirt!)
- Choose a coordinating journalling card.
- Layout the photos and card in a block.
- Add an inner stroke to the photos in a color to match the card.
- Add journalling with a typewriter font.
- Create a title from a font.
- Embellish with word art and a cute button.
- Don't forget to date your layout!
All my photos from Mother's day have a blurred spot where a little finger touched the camera lens, but I still used the photos. They are pretty cute either way!
Journaling
I AM MUM. I love it, and I celebrate it. I also see myself as many other things: Christian, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, business owner, teacher, encourager Mother's day this year started with breakfast in bed thanks to Phill and included a song of "Happy Mother's Day", an Apple watch, Kikki.K pause book, pens, church and our first chrysanthemum's blooming. 14 May 2017.
