Do you take outfit shots? I had a photo of a twenty first birthday I went to years ago and hadn't scrapped. I had only the show of me heading off to the party, so I decided to go ahead and use that to scrap the party.

Create the Look
I was inspired by Layout A Day's prompt 'Miss Scarlet' to scrap this layout of me - attending a fancy dress party as Miss Scarlet from Cluedo (or Clue as it's known in the US).
I've used quick pages many times to get layouts finished fast. Quick pages come with the papers and embellishments done for you and you just add your photo, title and journaling. Here's how you can use a quick page yourself.
In Layout a Day, we are challenged to create, strangely enough, a layout each day, so time is of the essence. I pulled out a older quick page from my stash (Scrapbookgraphics Smitten kit quick page)
I added an alpha by Flergs and journaling in my own handwriting font and it was done!
Journaling
Sarah celebrated her 21st birthday in April 2006, since she was in prac in Karratha on her actual birthday. We all dressed as a S character or thing.
I dressed as Miss Scarlett and wore a new dress and jewellery from the Palmer’s wedding.
Sarah was Snow White and we enjoyed supper and cocktails.
Note: I didn't have any photos of the birthday girl, so this is me 🙂 dressed up for the party years ago!

What a gorgeous picture of you, and on a gorgeous layout!
I don’t have many photos like this of myself, but I wish I had taken one of me in an outfit I wore to one my girl’s weddings. It could have been more helpful in selecting accessories than the people who were giving advice! Since there were many photos taken, it would have been helpful to see what the outfit would look like in photos! In this day and age, that could have easily been done – a selfie in the mirror.

🙂 Love that idea! I can’t believe it’s almost 10 years ago. I actually still have and wear that dress as the ruching is very forgiving on a post-partum figure!
