Every day members of the Digital Scrapbooking HQ community are scrapbooking and I wanted to share some of my favourite projects with you. Today I've invited Maggie Adair to share what she's creating - please give Maggie a warm welcome! I hope her pages inspire you too.

What inspires you to create?
I'm usually inspired by a photo, but often times by a kit or tutorial I've watched. For example over Christmas we had a friend visiting from over East and we did some day trips around Perth. After watching a tutorial my mind went to one of the trips we did and so I used photos from this.
I'm inspired by different things. As I'm scrolling through Facebook I may see a template or a kit I like, or it may be a tutorial or something someone else has done. I'm very random this way.
What digi supplies do you like to use?
I love using artsy types of papers and masks. I've also been using templates which catch my eye. Lately I've started using brushes & styles more to create the effects I want.
What printer or other supplies do you use?
I don't use my printer as I've gotten more into digital scrapbooking. This means my supplies are all digital coming from a variety of amazing designers. I use Photoshop CC but I'm still very new to using it so look for tutorials from all over the net. Previously I was using PSE, but I finally convinced myself over Christmas 2018 to give PS a go and I'm loving it!
Are there any special techniques you use?
I don't think I use any special techniques as a rule. I just go with what feels right for the layout I'm doing. I've been following a designer who does a lot of artsy type of layouts so I'm tending to use blending modes to blend different papers together quite a bit.
How long you've been scrapping/crafting?
I so did not want to get into scrapbooking because I had so many other craft stuff I was doing like card making and sewing. Then a friend had me do a casual day of scrapbooking with another friend around 2000 or so and I got hooked. This was in the day of paper scrapbooking for which I still have heaps of stuff. I stumbled across digital scrapbooking in 2012 sometime, but only got going with it when I came across HummiesWorld (now MyCornerOnline) tutorials in 2013. As I've learned more and got a 'feel' for scrapbooking, my pages are turning out better (in my opinion). I've had some printed onto canvas as a gift and am really happy with the result. I am looking to get them into photobooks some time soon.
My name is Maggie Adair and I live in Perth, Western Australia
