Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too.
Today I’m sharing a page from my family's album. A few times I've begun Project Life in January, spurred on by my love of daily documentation during December Daily, and I've not made it page two pages. Not very far... but I still have these few pages!
Layout: Project Life Style
How I did it
Today's page was created with help from Lightroom.
- Use the metadata search to find photos from this week
- Select the photos in Lightroom and add them to a quick collection
- Go to the Printing module
- Select Wendy Zine's lightroom printing presets (Pocket A)
- Export as a PDF
- Open the file in Photoshop Elements
- Add a background paper and month title card
- Create a title with Anna Forrest's All in a Line Script & Action. (Demonstrated in this class!)
- Add shadows
- Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
Journaling
This week we helped out in Creche. Edward started to play in his cot after waking (I could hear him playing and singing). I finally felt baby Puggle moving. Dr Saba said as my placenta is at the front I’d likely feel less movement. We had some very early starts with Edward as his top molars are just pokng through. We had tea with the Shanhuns on Friday night to farewell Kath and Phill finished the week taking a barista course with his Dad.We also finally got council approval for our shed.
