Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. While I'm away from the computer on maternity leave I've invited my readers to share their creations with you!

What inspires you to create?
Regarding the first layout - My desire to document my children's childhood inspires me to create. I want them to look back and remember how much they were loved and the fun things that we did together. I want them to be able to share these memories with their kids!
Regarding the second layout- This is a photo from my Grandparent's scrapbook. There is not a lot of information on these photos (hence my desire to document more for my children). I do know this was one of my Grandpa's first cars - a 1932 Ford.

What printer or other supplies did you use?
These layouts haven't been printed yet, but I will send them to Persnickety Prints when I'm ready to print a batch.
Did you use any special techniques?
There aren't really any special techniques I used. I do use an action for my shadows and I think it makes a huge difference in the look of my layouts.
How long have you been scrapping/crafting?
I have been crafting my whole life. I started paper scrapping when my daughter was a baby (about 21 years ago). I went to digital scrapbooking in 2012 when we had to downsize and I didn't have room for all the paper supplies! I don't think I would ever go back to paper. I love being able to create anywhere without pulling tons of stuff out! I absolutely love the control that digi gives me...the ability to resize photos, adjust colors if I need to, and especially CTRL-Z!! LOL! 😀
