I've created lots of Easter layouts over the year using everything from paper, to project life, to the Project Life App, to digital layouts. They have appeared in my Digi Scrap from Scratch and Digital Scrapbooking with Templates classes, but I've never only ever shared one here! In all these years?

So today I'm giving you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page from my family's album all about Easter.

How I did it

Two-page spreads were once the bread and butter of scrapbooking. I still love them and create many two-page spreads each year for my albums.

I show you exactly how to create this layout in my class Digital Scrapbooking with Templates at Big Picture Classes.

I show you how to showcase 11 photos in one spread and also share some fun tips, like:

• Moving photos from one photo spot to another
• Creating a custom banner embellishment
• Customizing the look of your background paper with creative paper placement
• Using "File" > "Place" to put files directly onto your layout
• Cutting out letters from an alphabet sheet
• Customizing a drop shadow and applying it to elements on your page

Journaling

On Easter Saturday we caught up with the Shanhuns and Edward and Emily did a little easter Egg hunt. Easter Sunday started with opening the Easter baskets from Jake and Maddie. After church, we had our backyard hunt with plastic eggs and little chicks inside. Lucy loved the little plastic eggs, but they were a little too easy to pop in the mouth! Oops!
Mummy made Daddy a fancy egg at MOPS this year and Emily and Edward helped decorate the wrapping and the card.
The hunt was and Easter Monday was Mummy's birthday!
