Today I’m sharing a page from my family's album all about Mothers Day! I hope this will inspire you to pull out some Mother's Day photos and scrap them too.
Layout: Mothers Day
Create the Look
Here's how you can create this look:
- Choose a kit from your favourite designer or select some supplies and create your own kit
- Choose some papers to complement your photo, leaving a neutral paper for behind the journalling.
- Create a border by selecting a large section of one paper and creating a mask to hide the rest.
- Select and arrange your photos in a loose block
- Add the journaling on a paper with a handwriting font
- Add a white border to define the photos
- Create a title with fonts or an alpha
- Add any extra embellishments - in my case, just a 'rub on' and a heart at the patterned paper and photos are fairly busy.
Journaling
Mother's day morning I was treated to a bought coffee (our machine was in being repaired) and presents in bed. I received a cute snuggle blankie from Typo. Then off to church, where we got to see Mum Okely.
This year we hosted Mother's Day lunch for Mum Shanhun at our place. Phill did a barbeque and bought a cake from the dance Mother's day cake stall the day before. It was lovely to have all of Phill's family over.
We finished the day by trying out the new Hungry Jacks at Beldon to finish my "day off" and the child got giant softserves.
