Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too.
Today I’m sharing several pages from my son Matthew’s baby album. Over the past few years, I've created a baby book for each of my children. I've written about a few ideas I had for making a baby album. I'm simplifying further and creating Matthew's with the Project Life App. I actually was able to keep up with the scrapping each month, but I haven't got around to sharing them here.
Matthew 7-9 Months
How I did it
Here's how the process worked:
- Snap photos on my phone
- Snap photos on my camera (Canon G16) and upload them automatically using my Eye Fi card
- Write a few notes in my Kikki.K baby journal, Facebook or straight into the app.
- Pull my phone photos into the Project Life App
- Browse my camera photos on the Crashplan App (or the Flickr App depending on the day!) and save them to my phone.
- Make the page in the Project Life App. Here's my tutorial
- I selected Hello Baby Boy kit to keep the pages simple - and super cute!
- Save the page as a 12x12 as you go along.
Journaling
7 Months - You are loving eating your solid foods. You prefer your food to be warmed up. Sweet potato is a favourite. You've tried a few veggies, apple, custard, chips, and a few different finger foods. You get pretty excited when its time to eat. You are a good boy at putting your hands on the high chair.
This month you've gone from two to six teeth with more coming soon! You are wearing size 00 clothes. You are 7 kg. You had your first swim at the Craigie pool and loved every minute. Your eye is cleared up know. Praise God for his healing!
8 Months - This month you learnt to sit, crawl and are trying to clap hands. You eat lots of different foods, although if they are too runny you suck them down by putting your thumb in your mouth!
6 August - 5 September
9 Months - This month you took your first flight (to Adelaide). You were quite relaxed about all the traveling and settled well in your cot. You enjoyed meeting the relatives but preferred to snuggle with Mummy at the more busy and noisy places.
You weigh 7.2kg and are 67cm long
You just moved up to size O Wondersuits.
You can pull yourself up to sitting and standing and are just beginning to make some sounds. You've tried lots of new foods and played in the big sandpit at the park (only ate a bit of the sand!) We have had to look into a few things for your health this month. You are long and lean, which is no surprise. You are also getting your lip tie, chipped tooth and positional talipes hips checked out. They were also concerned about your lack of words and sounds. But right on cue you now say gah, bah and are getting much more chatty.
6 September - 5 October
