Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page about seeing Disney on Ice.
My little Emily was taken to Disney on Ice! A generous and priceless gift of time with her cousin
(Thanks Dan and AJ!)
As I didn't go, I used a local review for the journaling on the facing page.
Layout: Disney on Ice
Create the look
I just loved the curtain paper in this kit, so I just had to use it.
I took the photos I had and created You can create white photo borders using an inside stroke. (Here's how!) I took some of the photos from the web and some downloaded from Facebook, so it worked to keep them a bit smaller. Plus, I could fit more in. I've printed this page at 12x12 and they look good.
I used two different alphas, lining them up with my alpha trick. I thought the icy alpha was perfect! I think in the actual kit, it's supposed to be glass but it all works. A few simple embellishments on that page to round it off,
I balanced the curtain pull and golden title with a cluster of flowers on the right. I used the cameo embellishment to draw the eye to the journalling.
