Birthdays are one of those events that many of us struggle to scrapbook. So many photos to choose from! Today I’m sharing a page from my little girl's album with 10 photo to help you get those birthdays scrapped!
Layout: Princess Party
How I did it
Today's page was a simple collage.
- Create a 24x12 inch canvas
- Select a neutral background paper put that in the centre of the page, then add other papers to each side.
- Select your photos (and run them through Radlab to get a bright look)
- Drag them onto the canvas.
- Select a focal point photo and make it big. (In my case I chose two on the right!)
- Resize and fit the other photos into a grid, using the align tools to help line everything up.
- Add an inner stroke to all the photos, to get a cohesive look.
Finish by:
- creating a title from a font (type the title then clip paper to the font)
- a gold alpha 5 journalling
- several heart scatters
- three florals
Journaling
Emily hoped for a Princess Party. It was a little bit much to put on a full friends and family event at 38 weeks pregnant. But I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut Disney princesses, a crown and number 5. I invited the family over for morning tea. Although Emily was excited to build her new Lego Friends models (she got 3!) the highlight was Les bringing Sam and Allie May to play!
