Often our best technical photos don't have much of a story behind them. If you are doing a home photoshoot with the little one, or even a family portrait session with a local photographer, they can just be pretty pictures.
In this layout, I played with my new supplies, a couple of templates, and a gorgeous photo thanks to Julian Masters.
Layout: Love Your Daddy
Create this look
- Choose a couple of patterned papers, plus a neutral for journalling.
- Place the photo and a largers rectangle of paper perpendicular to oneanother to create an L frame.
- Add the journalling to a smaller piece of paper.
- Add your title with an alpha and a font. I've been having fun using the League Script along with a chunky chipboard alpha. Debbie Hodge encourages me to try multi-font titles in her Get it Scrapped Membership
- Add a white border to a photo is my favourite thing to add a finishing touch to the sweet photo.
Journaling
You love your Daddy... Each night you want Daddy to put you to bed, and if he ever goes to shops or even works in the shed after you are in bed you always come out to see what’s happening... You used to come into our room during the night sometimes just to check on us (we think) Daddy would ask you to go back to bed and you would do it. So I got this photo printed up and stuck it on your cupboard so you can see it from your bed and won’t miss Daddy during the night.
