Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too.
Today I’m sharing a page from my daughter's album.
Layout: Homeschool Year 1
How I did it
I started the page with my journaling, on school-style lined paper.
For the photo I added white border as I often do! Using Inner Stroke:
- Select a layer, and in the Layer Menu, click Layer Style - Style Settings.
- In the Style Settings dialog box, select Stroke, and then use the Position drop-down.
I decided the page needed a bold title - so I opted for the large alpha and lined them all neatly using the alignment tool.
I surrounded the photo with washi and word bits and added two red paint splotches to balance out the red of Emily's uniform.
Journaling
Emily was excited to start Year 1, especially as she wants to be able to read. She can already sound out quite a few words, so it won’t be long.
Emily and I went shopping to get a uniform - she wanted the red one.
This year is a big one for you. Up a class to Transformers at Whitford Church. Into Tinies A at Gail Meade Performing Arts Centre.
