Growing up I loved look back what presents I got each Christmas in our photo album, so I love to recreate a 'haul' photo with our little ones. No doubt we miss one or two presents every year, bit it's still a fun photo.
Layout: Edward's Gifts
How I did it
- Select my photo
- Choose a background papers from Warm Wishes by Flergs, Digilicious, Zoe Pearn from Sweet Shoppe Designs.
- Add an inside stroke to the photos to create a border
- Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
- Create a title with alphas and type
- Add a couple of embellishments to secure the trim
- Add some shadows
Journaling
Edward really enjoyed Christmas this year. A special moment was when the Shanhuns arrived on Christmas night. He said to Kath, “Follow me” and ran off into the lounge room to show off this presents. He was to excited to tell them about each one.
After he opened his wooden truck and tool set, he put two and two together to use the drill to unscrew the wooden screws on his truck. On Boxing Day the D Okely family gave him the Junior Mechanic set and it is the first thing he looks for to play with each day.

Such a fabulous idea for the haul photos Melissa! The memories of favorite presents seem to fade so fast – this is a great way to preserve them from year to year.
