Layout: Anniversary

This page is not what you may thing from the title. It's not about our anniversary, but Phill's parents. Yet, they don't even appear on the page.

Get the look

So I challenged myself to do a massive clustery style layout and use some embellishments at full size, which I almost never do. Here's the process I used.

1. Start your page by putting a background paper
2. Cover one third with another paper
3. Add all the embellishments from a kit to your page
4. Hide the embellishment so cut the overwhelm 
5. Find a chunky frame for your photo
6. Add the journaling on a paper
7. Layer the embellishments starting with bigger items, down to smaller ones. Rearrange them by changing the layer order with the [ and ] keys

Journaling

Mum and Dad Shanhun's 40th wedding anniversary was just a few days after Edward was born.We all went out for Dinner at Blue Water Grill on the day - the 12th of May, 2013. We always enjoy eating there and it was on our shortlist of wedding reception venues when we got married, but it ended up being too small.We all enjoyed a lovely dinner, dessert and coffee. Dad presented Mum with a new engagement ring (hers had been lost many years earlier). A solitaire diamond in gold - we all approved! Such a special gift.I really loved this photo of our family that was taken on the night.
