Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too.
Today I’m sharing a page from my childhood album.
Layout: Homeschool Classmates
How I did it
I needed to swap faces and add a bit more headspace to my photo, so I use the Photomerge Group shot to get the best looking photo I could.
I started with a blank canvas and placed the washi tape haphazardly over the background.
Once I fitted in all my journaling, I went back to move and align everything.
Journaling
I attended a couple of schools over the years.Pre-primary to Year 2 at Northside Christian School (Thomas Scott Anglican Community School, now John Septimus Roe)A couple of my friends moved to Kingsway at the same time as I did, when Northside was bought by the Anglicans.Year 3 to first tern year 8 at Kingsway Christian College (formerly Northern Districts Christian School). Then after years of contemplation and research Mum and Dad began homeschooling us with Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) in May 1994. It took me a while to adjust and we did some other school work while we were waiting for our PACEs to arrive. But once we got into the swing of things I never looked back! This photo was taken 5 years later, when I was in Year 12 and my siblings were all at 'school' too. Daniel year 10, Michael year 6, Lauren year 4, John year 3 and Caitlin year 1.
