This week, let's show some love to those dusty old photo prints and get them converted to digital.
When you have a lot of small vintage photos to scan, you can save time by laying them all out on your flatbed scanner. But then you will need to select each one and create a new image for each individual photo. Or will you?
As long as the edges are not touching, Photoshop Elements can split them up for you! Watch this short video to see how:
- Simply scan your photos
- Open the resulting file in Photoshop Elements Editor
- Click on the Image menu, then Divide Scanned Photos... and Photoshop Elements will do the work for you!
- Use Image > Rotate menu to rotate the photos if needed
It works best with photos where the edges are visible and the photos are all the same size. It will certainly speed up your scanning now you don't have to scan them one by one!
If you'd rather someone else handle the scanning and dividing up the photos, Forever Media Conversion can handle it for you (US & Canada).
Happy scanning!
