Today I’m sharing a page from my little boy's album. I ended up scrapping several pages for Edward's third birthday and I love the clear bright look. I don't often scrap with primary colours, so I was thrilled with how these turned out.

How I did it

For this layout I simply used a blocked design to place my three favorite photos from Edward's birthday. I used journaling and a title to fill in the fourth quarter of the block.

I matted the photos on a neutral paper and masked out the edges so I could have the cute train paper peeking through.

I loved these alphas and created a simple title with them.

Then I filled in the extra space with a band of red.

Simple and I was happy with how it all turned out.

Journaling

After the excitement of a big party, it was a quiet morning opening presents after breakfast before Daddy headed to work. Emily and you loved playing with your trains and the velcro catch balls!
