How would you like to hang out with eight of the most inspiring and talented scrapbooking instructors on the planet... without leaving home?
With True Scrap 7, my friend, scrapbooking super hero and all round fun gal is bringing the best in online education to you. With add a twist – everything is LIVE so you don't lose that feeling of community and excitement that comes with an in-person event!
True Scrap is the truly the best way to connect with other scrappers in this post-LSS era. (What? You have a local scrapbook store? I envy you!) I spend my own hard-earned cash to get a front row seat at True Scrap each year, and I come away with much more than I paid for: a smile on my face, a head full of ideas and some new scrapping besties. And even a few inside jokes - wasabi tape anyone?
About True Scrap 7
True Scrap 7 is a one-day, online, LIVE event on October 24th. All eight classes will come to YOU via the magic of the Internet in a state-of-the-art web room. You’ll watch the class demonstrations, chat with the instructors and other students and leave with more scrapbooking ideas than you can ever use — all without leaving your house.

From Pocket to Page sounds great, as I am just starting on my first pocket scrap album.
Angela Hitchcock says
From Pocket to Page: Pocket Cards for 12×12 Layouts. I need some new ideas for my pages. I think this would be great inspiration!
Delores Taylor Harris says
“Mixed Media Masterpieces Using Crafty Supplies”Donna Salazar… This sounds so cool…I would look forward to see how things are mixed and combined to make unique originals!
Mel H says
The interactive mini book class looks AMAZING!!
ddvvbb says
Capture Your Celebrations – Photographing Food, Family, And Fun is an excellent opportunity to learn about photography.
Beth Neiden says
All the classes left ok great!! I would love the Interactive Mini Book! I love to make mini albums! Thanks for the chance to win!!
Laura says
I am in need of Layle’s class, “More is Better” because I have so many older photos to scrap. Also because I watch my grandkids several days a week, I continue to take so many photos that I want to use to tell my grandchildren’s stories. Help! Using more photos to the page and telling our stories at the same time would be wonderful!
Karyn Allen says
All of the classes look great – but I’d be most excited about Katrina Kennedy’s class: “Capture Your Celebrations – Photographing Food, Family, And Fun” – I’ve always had on my to do list to take a class from her – just haven’t had a chance to do it. Thanks for the opportunity.
Ruth G says
Thanks so much for the chance to win! Layle’s More IS Better: Tips, Tricks & Techniques for Adding More Photos to Your Layouts class sounds right up my alley!
Helen Gullett says
I am super excited about Mixed Media Masterpiece using crafty stuff by Donna Salazar.
Judy Mason says
At first I was confused, because your link took me to True Scraps 6. But after finally finding True Scraps 7, it’s the class by Julie Fei-Fan Balzar that looks the most interesting…but not to me, because if I win the seat, it will be for my friend Linda, who is battling leukemia and is now at Day 10 since her Bone Marrow Transplant. I know how much she would love this, because she just had me bring her a bunch of supplies based on the “preview” workshop that Lain ran last week. This would give her something to look forward to, since she’s staying in a residence at the hospital and cannot go out because she has no immune system until the transplant takes. Sorry to be so wordy, but this would mean so much to her!
Melissa Shanhun says
So sorry about that Judy! I’ve corrected the link now!
Christine says
I’m so excited about Donna Salazar’s – Mixed Media Masterpieces Using Crafty Supplies class! This is my newest interest that I’ve been trying to explore!
Liz Lumsden says
Great line up this year! I love the vibrant, quirky art of Kathy Cano-Murillo so would most look forward to her class, From Paper to Petals: Mixed Media Paper Flowers.
Renee T. says
I would be most excited about the “More is Better” class, because I am constantly challenged by having more photos to include on a layout, than space on the page!
Christy Cox says
Organize, Document, Display is one that I would be interested. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Kathy Thisted says
I like a lot of the classes offered but Layla Koncor’s class about more is better is most appealing
JenFW says
Mixed Media Masterpieces with Donna Salazar.
Joan Krebs says
Lots of interesting choices in True Scrap 7, but I think Lisa Bearnson’s class “Embellish Your Story”sounds like the one for me. I need to work on better journaling – really telling our family stories in an interesting way.
JenFW says
Whoops! I guess I was on the TS6 page. For TS7, “From Paper to Petals: Mixed Media Paper Flowers” Kathy Cano-Murillo will be great fun. I’m a long-time Crafty Chica fan.
Islemartin says
Each of the classes sound spectacular and it was hard to choose. Ultimately I chose Maggie Massey’s Organize, Document, Display. I am a senior scrapbooker with a wish to Journal My Christmas once at least before I die. JYC fits every age but may be especially good as a legacy piece to leave behind for the kids because of its retrospective content. In years pas I have had great intentions but lousy follow through.l at JYC. I think the problem was lack of pre-readineas and organization. Maggies class might be just what I need for success this year. Thank you Melissa for this wonderful opportunity! You are great!
Ann-Charlotte says
“More IS Better: Tips, Tricks & Techniques for Adding More Photos to Your Layouts” is the class I’m most excited about. I can never seem to decide which photo/s to use so most of the time I get stuck even before starting lol
Linda says
Thanks for the Giveaway and the chance to win this event. Sure looks like a gift that keeps on giving with the videos.
I’m thinking the class with Kelli Crowe looks really exciting for two immediate reasons..1) anyone who would choose that picture to be used on the class lineup is someone I really want to hang out with and 2) I love books. I love the feel of them and the smell of them and even the words in them. To be able to demonstrate in my scrapbooks my love for books without a ++yawn++ list of books I like, well bring it on. I can see there will be no yawnfull scrapbook pages coming from Kelli!
oh, so if this is live and camera is it like people can see into my craft room too? It really isn’t always THIS bad…(sometimes its worse)
Melissa Shanhun says
Don’t worry! You only see Lain and the instructor on camera – they don’t see you 😀
Susan Manohar says
They all look fabulous! Ok, to pick one, Becki Adams’ Scrapbook on the Go looks like it will give some good tips on taking scrapbooking on the road. This would be helpful for me right now. Thank you for the chance to win, Melissa!
Lidima Paris says
I would like to learn from Layle Koncar about adding more photos to a layout.
Many thanks for the chance to enter.
Melissa Shanhun says
CONGRATULATIONS! You are our winner! Check you email for more details 😀
Sue Carey says
Lisa Bearnson’s class because she is the Godmother, after all. I didn’t sign up so it would be fun to win.
Beth says
Patterned papers by you with Julie Balazar is what I would most like to learn more about. I have become in love with everything mixed media this year and would love to learn more.
Linda says
They all look like fun classes, but I love Julie Fei-Fan Balzer so the “Patterned Papers by You” class sounds great.
Andrea Guffey says
The celebration album sounds like a really useful thing to make. They all sound great though!
Michael-Anne Lowry says
Organize, Document and Display sounds like the one for me. I am always looking for ways to tell the story of my obsession with all things Christmas, from decorating to baking to wrapping paper and this would be a cool way to collect those memories which begin with the first Christmas Carol we hear.
Barbara S says
As a busy mom of 4 active boys/young men….I’m sure I would benefit greatly from Becki Adams’ ‘Scrapbooking On the Go’ class! Would be great to learn how to use those moments between activities to document/scrapbook those memories!!
