I think the trend to “pile on the embellishments” is really something that comes quite naturally to me and is actually a good thing. This “pileup” where everything touches helps to keep the individual elements from stealing the show while still adding interest to my pages, so I see this trend as a design improvement rather than a style hijacker…maybe I’m wrong!
I am loving hexagons, 3X4 journal cards, rounded corners and the latest trend in typography! Subject to change at this scrapper’s discretion!
Thank you for such a lovely giveaway Melissa and Ella’s Publishing! Good luck everyone
I love using embellishments and always like frames or borders around my pictures. I don’t know if it’s a trend or a personal preference.
Hmm, I like frames too. They are pretty timeless I think
Well right now I am working on recipes for my son, so my trend right now would be food. I am trying to get all the recipes I don’t have written down scraped so I can put them in a recipe book for him. He will be 19 soon and I want to have it done for him before he leaves the nest.
Jeri – that’s a super idea!
Anything circular. I always seem to have circles in my pages.
Washi tape!
Have you seen Washi tape Wahoo? It’s awesome! http://www.digitalscrapbookinghq.com/washi
cost is a big issue for me. If it is a trend i can do with what i have that is practical to me though new trends are tempting ( :
I like making my own stuff – to help save the $$
are you a paper or digi scrapper
I don’t think I am very trendy as my style (or lack thereof?) is pretty simple. But I LOVE looking at layouts done in various styles. Maybe I just need some good incentive, and it sounds like this book might give me that.
Thanks for the comment
I am a simple scrapper, so don’t use many trends. However, I have lately got into stamping on my pages and love it!
Stamps are fun! I love using them on cards

I love the sprayed look
I want to use trends but I’m still just looking at other peoples work and trying to figure out my own style.
Thanks Jessica – I’m still figuring it out too!
My current trend is wash tape. Love them.
