Birthday photos. You probably have too many fabulous pictures to fit into one layout. Right? Wrong! Follow my step-by-step instructions to create this fun layout with 15 photos!
Layout: Party Time
How I did it
Today's page was a simple collage.
- Create a 24x12 inch canvas
- Select a neutral background paper (copy the layer to put one piece on each side)
- Select your photos (and run them through Radlab to get a bright look)
- Drag them onto the canvas.
- Select a focal point photo and make it big
- Resize and fit the other photos into a grid, using the align tools to help line everything up.
- Add an inner stroke to all the photos, to get a cohesive look.
I finished it with some alphas (this time I didn't line them up), journalling and a couple of strips of patterned paper and ribbon.
This pages was to match several other birthday pages for Edward's third birthday, so I didn't embellish this page.
Journaling
We had a good representation from both Shanhun and Okely families able to celebrate Edward’s birthday on the ANZAC day long weekend. Edward was especially thrilled to see his cousins Jake and Maddie.
It was a train-filled morning with cute custom cupcakes from Cait and my Thomas train cake.
