September 25, 2015 By Melissa Shanhun 4 Comments

Today Adobe announced Photoshop Elements 14 will be coming to a store near you!

Adobe has just announced the new version of Photoshop Elements. Photoshop Elements 14 improves on PSE13 with new features including expanded guided edits, improved face recognition and more!

  • Auto Smart Looks in Quick Mode
  • Rotate and Straighten Tool in the Quick Mode
  • Speed Effect - Guided Edit
  • Dehaze
  • Shake Reduction
  • Create or Delete Presets
  • All new File Info dialog
  • New workflow in the Events Room
  • Enhancements to Places - making it easy to see photos taken in one location
  • Enhanced Face Recognition - all your faces come automatically stacked into groups to make tagging fast than ever

You can see my other reviews at scrapbooker's features, on the Organizer here and also some little known features I love. But there's nothing quite like seeing the new version of Photoshop Elements in action. Here's my live demo of the new features!

Do you like to try before you buy? Each year Adobe allows you to download the trial version of Photoshop Elements.

Thanks for this preview -very informative. I am wondering if you could share a bit about using PSE14 to organize digital scrapbooking kits and elements. Have you tried this out yet? I have accumulated a large number of kits and really need to develop a system to organize them and be able to more easily find things.

      Hi Joan

I’m using PSE14 for my digital kits right now. In fact I’ve got a whole class on using PSE Organizer with kits (http://digiscraphq.com/gosupplies)

Here’s an article I wrote about using Organizer for supplies https://thedailydigi.com/organizing-supplies-to-tag-or-not-to-tag

I mostly use searching and come keyword tags to find my supplies without it being too time consuming.

Do you have specific questions? Feel free let me know!
