Today I’m sharing a page from my Christmas album. Emily's first dance concert was a big part of our December, so I have included it in our December daily.

Layout: Dress Rehearsal

How I did it

I started by choosing my photos. Then I added a white border to each using an Inner Stroke.

Then I selected two background papers that would complement the colour scheme and placed them to mack the background and journalling space.

The title was added with League Script font and with an alpha from the kit.

I added my journalling with my own handwriting font.

I added some embellishing with snowflakes and flowers repeated in three places.

Journaling

I took you in on the train for the morning run through in the morning and the dress rehearsal at night. I was so happy to watch the run through and meet your dresser. You did really well on the huge stage and improved in all the run throughs. The Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre had all its Christmas displays up which were gorgeous this year. I waited, worked and chatted to other parents while you did the full dress rehearsal. On the way home you did an impromptu performance for the ladies at the station on the way home from the WA Ballet.
