Today I’m sharing a Christmas layout from my album. I usually make several pages for Christmas day as we usually have two or three events that day. Having local family makes for a fun, but busy day.

Layout: Christmas Lunch

How I did it

1. Select my photos
2. Choose a background papers from Traci Reed Pocket Life Holiday Edition; Warm Wishes by Flergs, Digilicious, Zoe Pearn
3. Mask some paper to layer behind
4. Add an inside stroke to the photo to create a border
5. Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
6. Create a title with alphas
7. Embellish the title
8. Add a column of flowers
9. Mask some stitching to make a border around the pages
10. Add some shadows

Journaling

We headed to the Okely’s for morning tea.

Emily was so sweet and polite. She asked if she could have “One of those tasty looking pies” (aka fruit mine pies). After exchanging gifts we all enjoyed our traditional roast while Lucy napped. Dessert was plum pudding.

Emily, Edward and Lucy were intrigued by their gifts as well as being keen to check out what everyone else had received.
