Growing up our tradition was to wrap gifts on Christmas Eve and we weren't even allowed in to look at them until Christmas morning. Since we have church on Christmas Eve, and Phill's family were wrap as you buy (and shake the presents all month long!!) type people, we have not really got a set tradition for our gift wrapping. But I'm documenting it all the same!
Layout: Gifts
How I did it
- Select my photos
- Choose a background papers from Warm Wishes by Flergs, Digilicious, Zoe Pearn
- Add an inside stroke to the photos to create a border
- Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
- Create a title with alphas
- Add a couple of embellishments
- Add some patterned paper as a strip along the bottom
- Add some shadows
Journaling
We wrapped up the presents on the 23rd of December, since we had a busy Christmas Eve planned. They each wanted the gift tag to reflect themselves as the giver, rather than label the recipient! Edward and Emily lined them all up in one long line.
