Who was your favorite Disney princess growing up? Today I’m sharing a page from my little girl's album, which is featured in my templates class at Big Picture Classes.
Layout: I Want to be Ariel
Get the Look
I chose a fun themed kit in similar colours to Emily's dress and let that inspire my design. I pulled out lots of embellishments and framed the photo with a doily.
You can see the complete process for the clustering in Digital Scrapbooking with Templates at Big Picture Classes. Plus you'll receive this template for free so you can create your own page!
With a lot of journalling, I typed it out the journaling made sure there was space to fit!
I finished by adding the title with an alpha and a font.
Journaling
Once upon a time before Frozen was a twinkle in the Disney franchise's mind, Emily hadn't watched any of the princess movies, but she had of course seen all the characters. Uncle Greg gave her a set of Disney princess colouring posters, so she learnt who was who. Then, when Lego came out with Princess Lego, she really wanted to learn more! Grandma and Grandad Okely gave her Snow White Duplo. Emily visited Evie Martin and heard about how Evie went to Disney and got an Ariel costume. Evie even let Emily run around in the costume for the rest of the visit.
For her fifth birthday Emily wanted a Princess party, and told me Sleeping Beauty was her favourite.
When we were invited to Joshua Medling's fancy dress party, Emily immediately told me she wanted to dress as Ariel. July is much too cold for a bikini top and fish tail, so I suggested dressing up as Ariel as a princess.
So, we borrowed Evie's dress and made it happen! I even got you an Ariel hair bow and you wore it for weeks afterwards!
