Did you know PSE has some different tools to full Photoshop and different keyboard shortcuts? Stop the confusion with the ABCs of PSE!
Press R to select the Blur tool. Blurring softens hard edges or areas in an image by reducing detail. Adjust the brush settings and strength and paint blurriness on the current layer.
- Press R again to select the Sharpen tool. Sharpening enhances the definition of edges in an image. Adjust the brush settings and strength and paint sharpness on the current layer.
- BLUR TIP: Increase or decrease the size of your brush quickly by pressing [ or ]
- BLUR FILTER: To quickly blur out a background, select just the area you want to blur, apply a gaussian blur (Filter - Blur menu).
