Sure, our descendants may not need printed pages in 2100, but we can enjoy them today.

Printing layouts and making up albums is one of the biggest payoffs for me.
It motivates me to scrapbook, because it's not only me enjoying the pages.
Every time our daughter Emily gets "her" scrapbooks off the shelf, I get a little shiver of joy. I know she loves looking through the books and noticing the people and things she knows well - Oh and the dogs! Every layout with a dog on it, she adores!
I wouldn't have known how much she loves the scrapbooks and which pages were her favourites until I printed them out. It's not quite the same snuggling up with laptop and straining to read the journalling on screen.
However, if you pull out a photobook or album of printed layouts, soon everyone will gather round and be reminiscing about old times, that funny story and how tiny they were in those pictures.
