Today, I’m excited to walk you through something very close to my heart—my December Daily Christmas albums. I’ve been crafting these albums for years, and let me tell you, they hold a special place on my shelf. Imagine flipping through pages that bring back a flood of memories and stories. Sounds fun, right?
Let's chat about my December 2010 album. It’s got a little wear and tear, but that’s just love showing. If you’re into digital scrapbooking, you might like to know I used my own templates. Yep, these are up for grabs on my site, Digi Scrap HQ. I even threw in my handwriting font, adding that personal touch.
Some goodies in the album come from Tangie Baxter and Flergs. I’ll try to link anything still available, but hey, it’s been a while! It's always a bit of a treasure hunt figuring out where those cute stitches came from. Maybe Traci Reed? Who knows!
Let's rewind a bit. Back in 2010, we were living with Phil’s parents, and birthdays were all over the place. Imagine a Christmas album that’s also a birthday book. Neat, huh? And, oh, the memories. Like the time we entered a Dunk Island photo contest. We almost won a trip, but then a cyclone hit. Crazy times!
One of my favorite pages has time stamps all over Christmas Day. It’s like a timeline of fun, chaos, and games. Dance Central on Xbox—remember that? Those blurry photos might not be Instagram-worthy, but they sure tell a story.
Looking back, I think I’d tweak some photos. Maybe fix a few typos. But hey, I’m cool with it. Thirteen years and it's still hanging in there, even if the cover is a bit worn. Kids always want to dive in, and that’s what makes it special.
