Ever find yourself swamped with photos and albums you no longer need? Let me tell you, I was there just last week. I’m here to share a super useful tip on managing your FOREVER library.
I was looking through an old album from years ago, and realised I didn’t need it anymore. It was time for a clean-up. So, I hit that delete button. A warning popped up, asking if I was sure about deleting nested albums. They wouldn't remove the files, just the album. But I wanted everything gone. So, I canceled.
If you want to delete photos, you gotta click on each one and hit delete. They’ll stay in your delete bin for 60 days, just in case.
You can also select multiple photos at once. When you click remove, it asks if you want them just out of the album or moved to the delete bin. I wanted them gone, so I clicked yes.
Once the album was empty, I clicked delete to remove the album itself.
Next, I checked my delete bin. Everything I deleted was still there. If I searched for P2P in my library, nothing showed up—exactly what I wanted.
Here’s a quick rundown:
- Click on each photo and hit delete.
- Select multiple photos for a quicker process.
- Empty albums can be fully deleted. If you delete an album with photos inside, they won't be automatically deleted, they are just put back in the main library.
- Photos stay in the delete bin for 60 days.
If this tip made your life easier, I have more to share. I’m offering a complimentary introductory session where you can learn even more about managing your FOREVER albums. Book your session here.
