Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing a page with no photo all about my dreams at 8!
Layout: Dreams at 8
How I did it
I started with the journalling on this page. Instead of a photo, I used some word art for the focal point. I split this page in two and embellished it all from one mini kit. I embellished with more word art, stitching, lace and that gold foil swish coming out into the blue.
I love pages like this as I don't have to make photo colours and can just play with
Journaling
I always wanted to leave a mark on this earth, whether through writing, painting or being known for my academic achievements. At age 8, I can remember having a conversation about trying to make a splash in the world so people would remember me. I can't say I had the thought the life begins at a certain age, but I did look forward to being able to be a wife and mother. Nowadays, I still crave recognition and achievement, but I also allow myself to enjoy today and just have 'fun' without it needing to be 100% productive all the time. The funny thing about it all is that I still love teaching others, drawing, creating art and being with little children, much as I did when I was 8.
