Instead of trying to whittle down my photos to cram Christmas Day festivities into one layout, I decided to split our day up over several spreads. Here's how our morning at home looked.

How to get this look

1. Begin with Nettio's 12 x 12 Photobook template
2. Clip the photos to the template photo spots
3. Add an inside stroke to the photo to create a border
4. Choose a background papers from Life Stories: Christmas
5. Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
6. Create the title with Anna Forrest's All in a Line Script & Action. (Demonstrated in this class!)
7. Add a couple of embellishments from Life Stories: Christmas
8. Add some shadows

Journaling

Christmas morning at home begins with opening up the ‘stocking presents’ from Father Christmas. Boxes of cereal for breakfast and then opening the family gifts. One from Mum and Dad and one each for the children to give each other. This year we also got a special joint gift for you. A new table for the games room. We enjoyed a little morning tea at the new table before heading over to the Okely’s.
