I'm always looking for new ways to grow my scrapbooking skills and though I'm more than happy to share my digital know-how I sometimes feel less than confident in my design skills for scrapbooking.
So when I got the opportunity to participate in Elizabeth Dillow's latest class starting April 29, I was thrilled! I'm so excited that I'll have 12 concrete ways to put my skills into action.
So what has this all got to do with you?
I've been given one free spot in the Design Challenges class to YOU.
What the Class includes
- Pre-class assignment, available to you immediately upon registration for class. This will get you off to a flying start.
- 12 emails, one to introduce each design challenge. You'll be able to click right through to see the latest class materials and get started.
- 12 layout variations, presented on video by Stacy Julian. How cool to see Stacy's take on each challenge.
- Colorful instructional handouts packed with ideas to tackle each challenge. Inspiration you use to get you started.
- Voice messages available as streaming audio, downloadable MP3 files and transcripts. Listen or read, whichever works for you!
- Private gallery and message boards to share your work and view the work of your classmates. Learn and talk with other scrapbookers - make some new scrapping buddies!
- Email access and two live chats with Elizabeth. Our teacher will be on hand to help us out when we need it!

My biggest design issue is deviating from single photo layouts. I really struggle with pages that have more than one photo and I’d like some creative solutions to adding more photos to my pages.
My biggest challenge is not knowing where to start. And then, my layouts become too busy and missing something!

My biggest challenge is just getting started – I’m brand new!

Staring at a blank canvas scares me. I need to use a digital template or a sketch to get something created.
My biggest challenge is scattering elements on the page.

My biggest challenge is time! If I just found the time rather than rush, then I think I wouldn’t have such creative block all the time
My biggest challenge is to go beyond an idea, to actually start doing whatever I have an idea about. Classes with prompts and assignments are always a huge help! I took some from BPC and it was when I achieved a lot!
I have so many photos and like to put a lot on my layouts. My biggest challenge is fitting a lot on but still having a pleasing design.

Getting started, picking a theme. Learning how to use PSE – kinda the reason I found this site
I agree with Tracy, I rarely start a layout without a template. I feel like I never know where to place the photos and elements. Thanks for the chance to win, this looks like an awesome class!

Adding those finishing touches – the bits and bobs that make a page look complete.

My biggest challenge is getting started – trying to set aside everything else in my brain and get my creative mojo on!
My greatest scrapbook design challenge is choosing fewer pictures to tell my stories instead of using them all!
